This is ICICI Lombard’s Family Shield — a Personal Accident Insurance plan. Healthcare Partner has taken this policy from ICICI Lombard General Insurance as Policyholder on your behalf.
When you join Healthcare Partner, you are automatically covered. If you meet with an accident that results in death, ICICI Lombard pays ₹10,00,000 (Ten Lakh Rupees) directly to your pre-registered Nominee — 100% of the Sum Insured.
No Waiting Period for Accident Cover: Unlike health insurance, the Personal Accident cover under this policy starts immediately. There is no waiting period for Section C (Accidental Injury Benefits). Cover begins once your name is on ICICI Lombard’s list, which needs your PAN, Aadhaar, nominee and address on your membership — keep them complete.
No Extra Cost: You do not need to pay anything additional. This ₹10,00,000 Personal Accident Insurance is included free with your Healthcare Partner membership of ₹5,100/year + GST.

If you die as a result of an accident during the policy period, ICICI Lombard pays ₹10,00,000 (100% of Sum Insured) directly to your nominee. Tax-free benefit.
